Hello. I am a freelance re-recording mixer, supervising sound editor, dialogue editor, and sound designer for film and television. Since 2013, I have provided professional sound editing and mixing services to filmmakers in Texas and beyond.
I love collaborating with filmmakers to help them develop and realize their sonic goals. I have over a decade of experience crafting polished and engaging mixes for independent features, documentaries, shorts, and TV shows. I am also available to mix commercial work. I am happy to put together an estimate for projects of all sizes. Please email me for more information.
I grew up in Tucson, Arizona and Alpine, Texas. Since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013, I have primarily worked with Soundcrafter, a post audio facility in Austin. I also complete freelance projects independently and in conjunction with Soundcrafter and other post houses.
I am proud to have worked on seven films by Richard Linklater, including Hit Man, Boyhood, Apollo 10 ½, and Where'd You Go, Bernadette?. I was the dialogue editor on the film Tower, for which the sound team received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music and Sound. I served as supervising sound editor/re-recording mixer on the feature films The Iron Orchard (2018), Shoot the Moon Right Between the Eyes (2018), Seadrift (2019), Guián (2023), Rent Free (2024), Somnium (2024), and American Sons (2025), among others. I have also mixed and sound edited television shows for The Magnolia Network, The History Channel, A&E, and PBS.
Since 2016, I have mixed dozens of student films for the University of Texas Department of Radio-Television-Film. I am an active member of Motion Picture Sound Editors.
Outside of work, music is my primary hobby. I play bass in a couple of bands, I play fingerstyle acoustic guitar, and I produce electronic music. I also love movies, and I go to screenings at Austin Film Society as often as I can.
